I recently had family in town that wanted to experience all that music city had to offer. I wanted to feel safe leaving my new home, so I had an alarm system installed and I’m glad I did. When I was a kid, I can remember staying up really late with friends during our weekly slumber parties. We would turn off all of the lights in the room, sit in a circle, and try to freak each other out. Though I was easily manipulated, it never actually occurred to me that at some point in my life, I might be staying in an unsafe place. For one thing, I always remember to lock my door. This is done even if it’s in the middle of the day, and the neighborhood is relatively quiet. I don’t care if anybody says that it’s paranoid; to me, it’s just common sense. Sometimes my guests forget to do it, or leave the door wide open. They don’t make it a habit if I ask them, though.

I also got myself a dog. She may not be ferocious, but she does bark when anybody strange walks by. It’s a great way to anticipate unexpected guests or anything else I might not have noticed on my own. My family is going to Myrtle Beach Resort next month ad I am so excited. I haven’t been to any Myrtle Beach Resorts before so I am really looking forward on the trip.
